The PrimeTime Book Review group meets at a different member’s home each month. The meetings are from 7.30 – 10 pm and include a potluck dinner. The number of attendees will be based on venue limitations and we will ensure a small group size so there is an adequate discussion opportunity for all participants. Each October the group gets together at a restaurant to vote on the next year’s book list. Guests are welcome to attend one Book Review meeting, if space is available, before joining PrimeTime.

Book Review Co-Chairs

Elaine Young

Elaine has been attending the Book Review meetings since joining PrimeTime in 2009 and has met some of her favourite women in Singapore whilst debating books over a glass or two of wine.
Having given up full-time journalism for a more moderate freelance life, book reading is something Elaine ensures she schedules into her day. Elaine welcomes members along to the meetings for lively and zealous literary debate over drinks and nibbles, even if you don’t always make it to the end of the book…

Kimberly Fravil

Kim’s goal as a child was to find a job where she could do nothing but read all day long. Alas, she’s spent the last 20 years working in research and data analytics.
Originally from the USA, she’s lived Spain, Australia, Thailand and has been in Singapore since 2015.

Kim welcomes all to book club to enjoy good company, wine and great discussion.
Hopefully everyone walks away having had a few laughs and learning something.
